Positions Announced:
The following positions and jobs have been announced and have specific eligibility criteria:
- FCPS-II ANAESTHESIOLOGY (04 YEARS POSTGRADUATE TRAINING PROGRAM) Candidates must have cleared FCPS Part-I in the relevant field.
- MCPS ANAESTHESIOLOGY (02 YEARS POSTGRADUATE TRAINING PROGRAM) Candidates must have an MBBS degree and a one-year House Job certificate.
- FCPS-II EMERGENCY MEDICINE (05 YEARS POSTGRADUATE TRAINING PROGRAM) Candidates must have cleared FCPS Part-I in Medicine & Allied, General Surgery, or Anesthesiology.
- FCPS-II ORTHOPEDIC SURGERY (03 YEARS POSTGRADUATE TRAINING PROGRAM) Candidates must have cleared FCPS Part-I and completed two years of residency in General Surgery.
- 2nd FELLOWSHIP INFECTIOUS DISEASE (02 YEARS POSTGRADUATE TRAINING PROGRAM) Candidates must have a pass certificate of FCPS-II (Medicine & Allied).
- 2nd FELLOWSHIP VASCULAR SURGERY (02 YEARS POSTGRADUATE TRAINING PROGRAM) Candidates must have a pass certificate of FCPS-II (General Surgery).
Additionally, candidates must have a Sindh Domicile, a certificate of CPSP Registration (if already registered), and a valid PMDC Registration. The applicable degree for each specialty requirement is an MBBS or BDS degree.

To apply for a position at the SMBB Institute of Trauma, interested applicants can visit the institute’s website at www.smbbit.gos.pk to access the necessary application forms, bank challan, and detailed eligibility criteria and policies. All applicants must submit their applications online through the institute’s portal at http://portal.smbbit.gos.pk:8081/apply_Trainee/ by 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, 18th April 2023. The deadline for bank challan submission is also on Tuesday, 18th April 2023.
Shortlisted applicants will be contacted for document verification and submission. The entrance test is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 13th May 2023, at the Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Institute of Trauma (SMBBIT) Karachi.
